Job Summary

The Senior Manager of Financial Reporting will play a key role within the TAG Accounting Office for both external and internal management reporting and will oversee and support the monthly and quarterly close process. This role will be leading the financial reporting team, including the consolidation of financial information, and the preparation, review, and issuance of the company's financial documents. This role will work closely with the external audit firm and internal teams to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of financial statements and disclosures. This role will report directly to the VP Corporate Controller but will also work very closely with the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting.

*Essential Responsibilities *

  • Lead thepreparation of internal monthly financial statement preparation and consolidation process in accordance withTAG’s internal basis reporting requirements.

  • Assist in the generation of internal management and board packages, financial analysis, and investor relations including ensuring quality control of all financial reporting.

  • Lead external GAAP and lender financial reporting and filing processes for quarterly, annual, and periodic reports, including drafting of financial statements, equity roll forward, footnotes, MD&A, and completion of GAAP checklists.

  • Prepare bridges reconciling internal reporting basis to GAAP reporting.

  • Create and execute controls to ensure the accuracy, integrity, standardization and consistency of the balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial information.

  • Assistin the monitoring, research, and analysis of technical accounting and financial reporting standards (e.g. GAAP, FASB) to prepare appropriate documentation and memos of accounting treatment of complex and highly judgmental transactions, as assigned/needed.

  • Assist withcapital structure and debt compliance, monitoring, and documentation.

  • Oversee the maintenance of Workday ERP data model that supports financial reporting and other processes.

  • Coordinate activities with external auditors to support their audit review procedures.

  • Manage or assist in reporting deliverables and data requests needed for capital transactions (recaps, debt refinancing, due diligence, etc.) when needed.

  • Assistin strategy for the optimization of consolidation and reporting procedures, including reducing the time to report and reporting results and finding efficiencies in the reporting processes.

  • Lead and/orparticipate in special projects and other critical initiatives of theReporting function and Accounting Office.

Requirements */Qualifications *

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 8+ years of combined accounting and reporting experience.

  • CPArequiredand experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.

  • Large company experience is required.

  • Experience with Private equity and multiple reportable segments is a plus.

  • Financial ERP / Reporting system knowledge, with Workday and Workday Adaptive ERP experience is plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to manage large data sets is a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence senior executives cross-functionally.

  • Track record of leading diverse, impactful teams with a focus on coaching, collaboration, and performance.

Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 + bonus opportunity.
